    I don't disagree with what she's saying, but it's amazing how Atwood has suddenly become this huge media personality after The Handmaid's tale became a TV series. It's strange to me that suddenly that changes her relevance to media organizations that much.

    I mean, I get it to some extent, but suddenly she's this superstar voice like JK Rowling

      That's interesting. I've always had Atwood in the back of my mind somewhere. We studied "A Handmaid's tale" at GCSE in, it has to be '97 or '98. I'd see her recent popularity as a resurgence...

      As a side note I highly recommend "Oryx and Crake".

      Out of curiosity, are you outside of Canada? Atwood's always popped up in media for me, so I'm just wondering if it's because I read Canadian news.
