Previous attempts to create artificial reefs had failed spectacularly (e.g. building them out of car tyres, which is now apparently considered an environmental disaster), so it's fantastic to see this one thriving. I'm really hoping more efforts like this can succeed in the coming years.
YVW. And yeah, that tyre reef was a total disaster. But thankfully there have been a lot more successes than failures when it comes to artificial reefs. Even the oldschool method of sinking ships...
