Hey, I think it's important to know whether cats are present or not. They're sneaky little monsters at times. Last thing I want is one sneaking up on me. I have enough of that in my own apartment...

I have enough of that in my own apartment and the scratches to prove it. I don't need that while I'm on Tildes, too. Ain't nobody got time for that.
Aww! I can't see what isn't there anymore and I'm sure I would have laughed at it. Now I'm just terribly sad at missing out. Cfabbro... What Have You Done!?...

If you click into the sidebar, there should be a “topic log” that’s lists the changes to the tags and post title (visible for about a week after the post was made, if I recall correctly).

Thank you, Zorind, for being my hero in this moment of knowing that, although it was not visible on camera, a cat was indeed present during this filming. I appreciate you.

I'm also in Virginia, though up in NOVA. We're also under a tornado watch. This is the second tornado watch (Memorial Day weekend also had one) that I've been under while living here for the last 9mo. I'm from the Midwest, so I'm used to this during this time of the year.
But I guess I just didn't expect that here. Not exactly sure why; tornadoes can happen anywhere. Of course, frequency is what matters. And I guess they happen rarely enough that there are no or few tornado sirens around me. I checked the county website and it explicitly stated the county doesn't maintain weather sirens.
Anyway, stay safe and make sure you're prepared. And enjoy the cooler temps while we got em!
[T]here are no or few tornado sirens around me. This is interesting to me; everywhere I've lived has had sirens. They were originally built in the 50s as "Duck and cover, nuke incoming" sirens,...

Oh hi neighbor, also in nova but for 13 years now. We don't get tornadoes often, they're usually smaller ones when we do and radar indicated. Reston seems to get hit by the worst of the storms...

Reston seems to get hit by the worst of the storms every time I check radar and wonder why we're not getting the storm a little south of them, tornado warnings included. And yeah, no tornado sirens here. I have a weather radio (battery powered with solar/handcrank options for emergencies) and phone just in case.
Your tags. ಠ_ಠ

No worries, I'm not actually mad, and they did get a chuckle out of me after seeing them all. ;)

I feel that way about living in the PNW after having spent my formative years in the midwest.
