About time! So much energy to be gained from that, glad to see it gaining traction. We were travelling through texas a while back and were surprised by the lack of solar in total wastelands / deserts

This is interesting, particularly the section about using battery backups on a larger scale. It is particularly interesting as our cooperative just this month offered a 10 and 20 year plan opening...

It is particularly interesting as our cooperative just this month offered a 10 and 20 year plan opening to purchase solar. It is the first time it was offered by our cooperative although they already have a couple of solar arrays, this program allows expansion for a third and gives participating members utility credits. We participate as our property isn't suited for solar and are very happy we can support solar in this way. This allows businesses and people who live in apartments, etc. to take avenge of solar. Solar is very popular where we live and there are a lot of different approaches to utilizing it by both utilities and individuals.
