I want to be clear that I'm not totally endorsing everything Peter Coffin says in this video and I definitely think there are discussions to be had on overpopulation and resource usage, but I just thought it would be an interesting perspective to share.

To say that killing people is a responsible thing to do to save the rest of the world only makes the world hell to live in; it makes the killed the lucky ones.
There is no situation in which eugenics should be seen as a valid solution. In a functioning society, people act together to solve the problems everyone is faced with. It doesn't self-destruct in a paradoxical attempt to keep moving forward.

While I agree eugenics is bad its not really about killing people, it can be about selective or restrictive breeding and stuff too. Still bad tho.
