It's certainly a neat idea, and could definitely make for a sweet coffee table book... However, to be honest, I don't think you're doing yourself many favors with your site, as it stands. It's very sparse on details, and $50-100+ is a lot to ask for when all people have to judge this on is some very tiny sample images. IMO you should consider providing at least one, full-sized example page for people to see, and you also absolutely need some more info on the book itself somewhere (e.g. How many pages will it be? How many illustrations? When is the estimated publishing date? Etc.)
p.s. You also might want to make it a bit clearer what the purpose of this submitted page is. I assume it's to receive an email notification when the book will be available for pre-order, but since it doesn't actually say that anywhere it's a bit confusing.
