The author's friends get banned from platforms and payment processors because they engage in active harassment of people with protected characteristics (eg, anti-trans hate).
There's a weird victim complex combined with dishonesty ("we get banned for saying unpopular things").
And so when they get banned by mistake, and file a successful unban request, that's not evidence of a perfectly normal system correcting itself after people followed the procedures, it's a Victory against The Woke System.
It's nonsense, and it's somewhat disturbing to see people posting Singal substack here because it's so obviously nonsense.
