Mint isn't really promising anything other than saying they have no intent to raise prices, at least on one particular plan. Otherwise the FAQ is as barebones as it gets. But, I know how these acquisitions often go. How long will the bean-counters at T-Mobile resell their own service at a cheaper price without somehow affecting its quality?
I just recently switched to Mint in the past year too. Sigh.
Mint wasn’t really direct competition though. They were an MVNO that already exclusively sold T-Mobile’s service. I just paid for next year’s service for me and my husband just last week. 😮💨

I view it as self-competition and this acquisition may be a path to ending that.
