Given his influence on world events this could be very big news. Or business as usual. What do you think?

He's passed it on to his son. I suspect business as usual. If we're lucky he's incompetent and the whole lot will collapse.

I was gonna say, aren't his sons a few nails short of a woodshop compared to their dad?

This is my first time hearing that idiom, and I'm stealing it.

I've got a whole toolbox of them. They range from "I can say this in a boardroom" through to "Soldiers would be horrified." They're a great tool

Business as usual. Even if the new chairman is a very different person, problems are often made up of systems, not individuals. Swapping out one person is almost never enough.
