    Fair warning, it's about the success of women in the literal field of economics (focused on academia), not the economic system.

    Not an economist, but nothing felt groundbreaking compared to other fields aside from maybe a different rate of change. Still, good to take specific deep dives, help the readership of the financial times look inward.

    I chuckled at:

    a glimmer of hope — economists can overcome gender differences in recognising the work and contribution of their peers.

    as though economists are a different species. They're people, too :p
