Japanese curry! Using roux cubes makes for an excellent effort to deliciousness ratio. It warms the soul during these colder months and makes great leftovers. I made it once “standard” and it was great, but recently I added a bunch of optional add-ins: honey, grated apple, soy sauce, Worcestershire, tomato paste, and a bay leaf; those optionals really enhanced the flavor.

I'd been wanting to cook Cacio e Pepe (peppered pasta) for a while now, and I'm happy to say it was both easy and delicious. Here's a recipe.

That's funny I had a craving and made some last night. I added some fresh parsley and garlic though. And no cornstarch. Still deliecious!

Sounds good! I didn't use cornstarch either.
