Each year, there's a fundraiser at my daughter's school that includes a silent auction. This year, I decided to donate a set of these organizers I designed for Catan Junior (along with the game itself). Since her school runs birth-to-sixth-grade, Catan Junior is probably a better fit for the population anyway.

The printed parts organize the existing game pieces in game-themed organizers. There is an island-shaped holder for each players pieces, a stack of crates to hold the resource stockpile, and a treasure chest for the coco cards. There is also a dice tower (just because). I find the stockpile holder particularly useful for keeping all the resource tokens organized during and between games. Everything fits nicely in the original box.

In the process of getting the prints ready for the auction, I decided to post the models to Printables and replace the 3D-printed Catan set that I posted about last year in my one store slot. In the past year, I only made one sale on the full Catan board. I'm hoping this one will do a little better. For one thing, it's a quality of life augmentation to the game people may already own, rather than a full replacement. It also requires significantly less filament, types of filament, and printing time.

For the board game players out there, what other games do you play that could use organizing or improving?

If I had a 3d printer I would buy them. Good job on the design. 😁
