I took the time to write the rules for my chess variant. I actually thought about this back in 2006. iirc, I lost all my games against a better player.
If you guys want to play it online, you can use the board editor on lichess. Make your move and copy the URL at the bottom. For example, here is the link after my first move: snip.
I would be really interested in seeing AI vs AI games if anyone has an idea how to set this up. (Perhaps with a modified Stockfish engine.)
