Team Fortress 2 was pretty great when I reinstalled last year, some time after Valve did their big anti-bot ban-wave. Felt like 2012 again. As I understand, it's still an ongoing battle, and sometimes the bots come back, but anyway. It's so cool they are working on a "real" update 15 years after the first release (Oct 2007).
In their words, it's a "full-on update-sized update — with items, maps, taunts, unusual effects, war paints and who knows what else."
Also impressive that it's still getting 100k daily peak simultaneous players according to SteamDB. (But then again, who knows how much of that is bots/idlers/etc.)
