Radio the Universe is a dark, minimalist sojourn through a vast system aeons beyond salvation.

A blend of heavy action and atmospheric exploration.

Radio The Universe has been at the back of my mind since I barely missed its modest but successful Kickstarter at the very start of 2013. Since then, enigmatic developer sixe has drip-fed sporadic updates like Chinese water torture. Understandably, a number of people gave up hoping that it would ever come out, but once or twice a year something new would bubble up to the surface, and each subsequent preview we got made me respect sixe's commitment to their vision, as I could see how painstakingly this game was being crafted. The demo finally became available a few days ago during Steam's NextFest, and it's apparent how much the game has been honed beyond what we'd already seen. My own playthrough (in which I saw maybe 65-75% of the content?) lasted just over 90 minutes, and only when I was done did I realize I had been holding my breath the entire time.

I am waiting impatiently for the full release.

Full controller support on the Steam page, meaning this is more than likely to play beautifully on my Steamdeck. Looks awesome and right up my alley for the games I like to play on it.
