But then again there was also that one person who thought that Sonic 06 was the best sonic game and was attempting to recreate it without all the bugs, and by most accounts, it would appear that the remake's fixes actually made the game pretty good. Maybe the pneumatic version of Street Fighter is the same; I just wish that there were feedback from people who were not as passionate about the game as the author is.

I found this pretty fun to read because it's pretty clear that the author doesn't have much in-depth experience with electronics or pneumatic systems, and the fact that it ends in success is nothing less than admirable; it turns out all you need is a little bit of research and deductive reasoning, and you can achieve pretty much everything. As the saying goes, "Success is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration".

That search for the junction box and finding out that it was just an aluminum block with some holes milled into it was pretty painful though. And I'm really frustrated that the author never told us if that "filter board" actually had any effect on the game or not! From the photo it looked like a fairly important part; it has the service and test switches on them as well as several wire connectors; some of them are marked "control" and "coin", so I can't imagine you could play the game without it unless it's just acting as a JAMMA adapter of sorts, but I think this game actually predates the standard.
