Overwatch 2 Season 4 winding down
As we are in the last couple days of Season 4, what are your thoughts? What did you enjoy? What did you not? What are you looking forward to in Season 5?

Honestly - I'm pretty checked out: the matchmaker sucks for metal ranks. Hero swapping to counter comps is so annoying. Lifeweaver is ... underwhelming. The big PvE mode has been canceled. The seasonal mini-games have been underwhelming. I love Overwatch - but it's less and less with each season. I'm only logging in to play mystery heroes unranked atm. Mystery heroes competitive was the mot fun I've had this season. I'll probably come back to play that next time it's in competitive.
Same here. Comp mystery heroes was legit the best. Zero toxicity I found. Cuz how can you be??
Comp mystery heroes is back this season!
I checked out before season 3, and fully so. I even uninstalled not only the game, but since it was my last game from them still installed, the whole battle.net client.
I don't know, it just never "clicked" for me the way Overwatch 1 did. I still followed the news however, and I'm very happy they're focusing hard on adding more supports now. Finally! They seem to struggle even harder than the old team with balancing characters, but that might still be after-effects from the giant mountain of balance issues the change to 1/2/2 coupled with the new and less well-designed maps and the new game mode created. Could be.
It's interesting to follow from a certain distance for sure. But I also notice I have exactly zero interest in ever playing it again. Especially now that the one positive element of the transition (for me) has been confirmed as cancelled. Sure, we all knew it wasn't going to happen already, but it still sucked to have it confirmed.
I maxed out the first two BPs, played OW1 since closed beta, but I'm done. The game is dead. It's been dead since they decided to make role queue the default and balance around it. It was nice playing OW2 for a bit because of all the CC nerfs they did, but with the cancelation of the PvE mode I can comfortably shelve the game for hopefully the last time.
