An old backup strategy for speedrunning Facility, first showcased 16 years ago by Graham Maddocks (Grags), which involved checking an alternate spawn location for Dr Doak, that the speedrunning community back then dismissed as being slower than the traditional speedrunning route, has actually turned out to be faster. And this alternate route also has the added benefit of doubling the odds (from 1/7 to 2/7) for finding Doak, since even if Doak isn't at that alternate spawn location, if he was at the traditional location he will wander into range of the door you need to exit through if you go around shooting inside the alternate location room... which also has another added benefit of drawing the attention of a guard on the opposite side of a wall from that room, who will then open the locked door you need to go through next, so you don't have to use the decoder to open it.
Karl Jobst was actually a GoldenEye speedrunner himself, and has a bunch of other GoldenEye speedrunning related videos, if you're interested in seeing more. E.g. The Most Insane GoldenEye...

Yeah, a better title for the video would be Speedrunning GoldenEye's most iconic level is changed forever, but the title here uses the video's title.
I have changed the title to that, to hopefully help clear up the confusion.
Good call, thought about doing so, but saw it was you and prefer to let the more experienced users around here make their own decisions about titles.

Got it. You're going to be known around here as the person that loves the taste of orange juice and toothpaste.
LOL. I probably should have worded that better and added a caveat about it being a reasonable edit. :P
The title of the post doesn't make sense
