    Tangential to the video, but did they ever "fix" some of the issues with the game? I loved mini metro because even playing properly most of the powerups had a use, and you wound up with something...

    Tangential to the video, but did they ever "fix" some of the issues with the game?

    I loved mini metro because even playing properly most of the powerups had a use, and you wound up with something that looked like a real metro. Most of the powerups in motorways were actively bad to use (traffic lights come to mind) and the optimal way to play was placing road tiles down in such a way that you could force houses to spawn in the right spots, and then keep the roadways completely segregated.

      No, as far as I know they haven't changed anything about the core gameplay loop. It's still very much an optimization game rather than an efficiency game. It's not bad for a couple of runs but...

      No, as far as I know they haven't changed anything about the core gameplay loop. It's still very much an optimization game rather than an efficiency game. It's not bad for a couple of runs but it's clear it's not really about the infrastructure aspect of car traffic and the game would play the same if instead of cars it were all bugs trying to eat specific foods.
