My favourite game of all time, now 80% off. A must-play for anyone interested in RPGs, history, story, or immersion. I'd recommend getting the package with DLC for just a tiny bit more.

Baba is you, Dorf Romantik, both Monument Valleys, and Darq are all definitely worth the $10. Honestly Baba is You already is worth the $10!

Assassin's Creed Franchise Sale on Steam:
    https://store.steampowered.com/sale/assassinscreedfranchise

The entire franchise is ~$100, but honestly, I'd only personally recommend AC:2 ($5) and AC:Black Flag ($12), I've heard good things about Odyssey ($12), and only got a couple of hours in Valhalla ($15) and personally finished AC:3 and Liberation ($10 and $5).

There's some definitive eras, and honestly you can probably just play the best of each era to get the whole experience. In my mind, it's probably AC:2, AC:Black Flag, and one of either Odyssey or Valhalla. There's probably an era between Syndicate, Rogue, and Unity too, but I fell off the series at that point.

I would put Unity pretty high on that list. It's the only game that feels like a proper sequel to 1 and 2.

tbh I thought Destiny 2 was always free and these expansions were similar to the WoW model where you only have to pay for the latest expansion but what do I know

With Destiny 2, the base game is F2P, but raids, campaigns, certain gear, etc. are all locked behind expansions. The latest expansion is for sure the most relevant, but you pretty much need the other expansion as well if you get serious about playing the game. Basically, with the free legacy collection, people would get most of the game for free and then can buy Lightfall when it's on sale to get the rest. Without any of the expansions, you're pretty limited in the game, so it is actually a good deal to get all but Lightfall for free.
