Simple, but fun. I like the art style. Couldn't figure out how to jump in round 1, but managed a score of 356 in round 2. Started getting pretty fast there :)

I am, actually. I hadn't interpreted "mobile" as referring to phones (give me a break, it's nearly 2am here lol). I'll be sure to try it out on mobile and see how that affects my performance. I'd...

I'll be sure to try it out on mobile and see how that affects my performance. I'd be interested in seeing how well it runs compared to desktop, anyway!
It should run great on mobile too :D The difficulty does get a little easier on the wider screen of a desktop though (since you're able to see a lot farther ahead) It's a great score either way...

Confirmed, runs great! 147 on mobile in portrait mode :) A small note is that there will be an effective score cap due to speed increases not being accompanied with gradual spacing of your kill...

A small note is that there will be an effective score cap due to speed increases not being accompanied with gradual spacing of your kill floors. Eventually the speed will surpass the game's ability to process even robotic inputs in time to avoid a loss.
This is really cool, can you give a bit more detail on the technologies you used to create it? edit- Love the cat building and the night theme and music, really nice touches.

The art and the music were made by my roommate Andrew in Manga Studio I made the game in vanilla JavaScript with the help of some libraries I've written myself and all the custom code is available...

Nice! That's a great score! :D
Are you on desktop by chance?

That might be something to look at.
Will be adding support for keyboard very soon! :D
The up arrow and spacebar are now supported for making the cats jump and skipping through the menu to start and replay 😸

Impressive, it runs well on iOS Firefox.
Glad to hear! That's the power of the Web 😄
