I just got done testing Ham out on the PTR, this is a really fun Hero and is really going to shake up the meta. Might be my new Tank. I usually play D.Va, but Ham is very mobile and high DPS, and his Ult is a great area-denial move.
The hook could use a little tweaking, maybe to help grab on to corners, and I've noticed that it's little flaky when deploying (but my mouse is a few years old so it could be that). Mobility...
The hook could use a little tweaking, maybe to help grab on to corners, and I've noticed that it's little flaky when deploying (but my mouse is a few years old so it could be that).
Mobility utilizing the ball+hook has a small learning curve, but it only took me a couple matches to really nail down some good moves. I can shoot myself a good third of the way across Dorado at a good speed playing defense so far.
It's unfortunate that you can't seem to maintain max speed in a loop. Trying on the signs in Numbani and at about "11 to 1" on the clock it stops regardless of direction pressed. Alternately I...

Right? No way there's room in Overwatch's continuity for a talking animal. That would just be crazy.
