This game has been on my wish list forever, so I guess I might as well get it now. I hear it’s super hard and often incredibly frustrating (it’s a legit roguelike, what do people honestly expect?) but also really fun, clever, cute and the controls are super tight. Looking forward to finally playing it!

I enjoyed what I played of it, but it was definitely too hard for me. I have about 19 hours of playtime in it, and I think I only ever got to the 3rd floor a few times, and that was only if I got quite lucky with getting really strong gun/item drops.
One thing I noticed was that this game was much easier depending on the response rate of what you were playing it on. Playing it on my TV vs playing it on my monitor was vastly different

Man I want to enjoy this game so much but it's so damn tedious. It tries to do the rooms system from Isaac and the Gunplay from Nuclear Throne but it just becomes so damn slow when you really only get weapons early on. Early floors are a slog of you can even get past them. Are there power ups in the game like in Isaac or are they all guns?

I finally sat down to properly learn Gungeon recently and I've been having a blast with it, this comes out at just the right time.
