It certainly does seem like excessive meta-outrage! One thing that seemed a bit strange was this point
If you do that search you get somewhat more varied results (though there are a lot of outrage videos!). I think maybe the creator actually searched for "doom eternal sjw" (those are the top 3 results for that search) and cropped the frame. Maybe just to make the video simpler, but could it also be a case of exaggerated meta-meta-outrage? ;)
I believe YouTube results are adjusted by what the algorithm thinks you're interested in, so there's a chance Shaun was shown those videos because he operates in the political YouTube circles.

I discovered this channel just today and binged a few videos. I highly recommend his Charlottesville video. It could be a proper documentary honestly. He's amazing.

We need to go deeper. Can we get outraged about this meta-meta-outrage and call it meta-meta-meta-outrage?

Sometimes I feel like some of these YT commentary channels are just a more modern incarnation of tabloids or channels like Fox News.
