Generally UE4 allows for better artistic qualities by default (minimal tweaking) though the same can be achieved with Unity with effort.
UE4 has blueprints which is very devisive, either you love them or hate them. The unity bundle includes 2 unity assets that allow you to do the same thing as blueprints.
I find unity easier to work with, more tutorials, c# is cleaner to program in than a macro-infested old C++. It also works well for 2D, UE4 not so much.
Networking in unity is far worse than UE4, though there may be an asset or two that helps.
I believe the terrain tools in UE4 are better but I'm not sure. UE4 has ways of quickly creating a prototype level by adding and subtracting shapes from each other which unity doesn't have
Thanks for the link! Have been messing around with Godot Engine but I think Unity is my next step.
Want to move into 3D development. Sure, Godot has a 3D engine. But I think it is in early alpha and not particularly well supported.
