Being able to play all of the Endless games free for the weekend is pretty cool. I personally loved Dungeon of the Endless (neat combination of rogue-lite and tower defense), and liked Endless Legend (Civ-ish with unique factions and quests). Neither Endless Space games really connected with me, but the first one is apparently completely free to own. I like Amplitude as a dev because they support their games for a long time with free and paid addons.

I wanted to like Endless Legend so bad, but the combat just takes so long. Everything else is excellent: the races feel special and play in unique ways, the tech tree is non-linear, the game handles strategic resources way better than civ5 (which is my go-to turn based strategy game), and the art style and graphics are just stunning tbh. But the combat just sucks all the fun out of the game for me. I can understand that one might appreciate its depth, but it's just so loong.
