    Oh man I'd forgotten about this story. It's superb, I love the whole thing. As mentioned on Wikipedia, game designer and general space hippy Jeff Minter released a fairly bonkers VR game of the same name which, if anything was going induce psychedelic effects, might be close to something which could. (although to be honest, Rez in VR is rather trippier)

      Yeah, Ahoy talks about that game and the various spinoffs as well. It's really fun and I love how he points out easter eggs I never caught in the Simpsons / Futurama. :)
