Assault Android Cactus is an extremely polished indie twin-stick shooter that I'd highly recommend if you enjoy this style of game at all (and there's a demo available on Steam if you want to find out).
The dev is really involved with the game's community and devoted to it, they've been actively updating it regularly for years since it came out. This update seems to be mostly integrating features/updates from the Switch release, and it's nice that they're bringing it over to PC as a free update for owners.
