    This could be the answer to having Galaxy on Linux. It's clear they haven't been able to muster up the resources to make it happen on their own yet, but it's almost a certainty it'll happen if they open it up. This makes me a lot more hopeful than I was a couple of days ago when they announced 2.0 without Linux support.

    Honestly I just can’t wait to be able to use the launcher. At this point I’ve got like 6 launchers on my computer and I just want one that I can use as a main one.

      If you're looking for something similar in the interim, Playnite is very nice. It doesn't have quite the featureset of the new Galaxy, but it does work well as a unified launcher for the platforms...
