It's good that this discussion is becoming increasingly prominent. It's a clear sign that the dominant political ideology is weakening, going from invisible and unchallenged to visible and questioned.
When I was playing 12 hours of CoD MW2 a day this kind of media criticism was not a thing in gaming (Youtube was only 4 years old). It's great to see things have changed in that regard, as gaming is a massive part of the media.
