Honestly, I'm really missing the Square of the turn of the Century. Their modern games feel too polished. I miss the experimental feelings of games like Xenogears, Brave Fencer Musashi, Einhander, and Parasite Eve. It's kind of hard to believe that this is the same development house that published the SaGa franchise.

You should try FFXIV - it mixes silly and seriousness and weirdness. I think its story content is as good as any recent single player jRPG besides Persona 5.

I'm usually sympathetic about delays. As a consumer, I'd rather wait than to get a subpar product.
