This is shaping up to be a very interesting console generation! I'm about to buy my first 4K TV but all my devices are just 1080p. I have a PS4 currently (never owned an Xbox) so I'm probably going with the PS5 just for backwards-compatibility. It'll be nice to render my existing library in 4K and not need to keep the old hardware around in my living room's limited space. Especially if it also supports PSX, PS2, and PS3 games as some rumors claim. I'd love to give all my old favorites a new home on a single device.
