aGameScout did a video about the new classic mode, featuring GreenTea, who is a consultant after he basically made a name for himself in the guideline and classic Tetris communities.
I'm personally looking forward to the rank-based online, because what typically happens with online Tetris is you jump in, and you lose to people who live and breathe the game. That said, I'm also curious what top-tier play is going to look like with the Zone.
The second exclusivity agreement still leaves a funny taste in my mouth. I don't know how/why they keep getting locked into exclusivity agreements, but it's pretty funny at this point that basically one game has had two, which is some sort of record.

Tetris Effect: Connected came out today, it's an expanded version of the original game with some new multiplayer modes.
The strange exclusivity journey of this game continues though. Originally it was a PS4 exclusive, then eventually got a PC release that was exclusive to the Epic store. Now this new version is currently exclusive to Xbox consoles, with a PC version that's also available through Xbox Game Pass and/or the Microsoft Store. It will be released as a free update to the PS4/Epic versions next summer, and will also come out on Steam at that time.
Personally, I bought the game on Epic, but now I'm going to have to restart and play it through Xbox Game Pass for PC to be able to try out all the new stuff.
