Maybe, but I think most will prefer this. It's not like CD Project Red is a traditional dividend stock (they have a whopping 0.27% yield - not 27%, or 2.7%; 0.27%), people invested it as a growth...

So if the refunds help stop the steep decline in stock price, investors will be happier than if they get 1 PLN (0.27 cents) per stock unit.
