Pokémon Snap 2: The trailer showed off some new game mechanics. Not much to say here, the graphics look good and the gameplay looks fun.

Let's Go Dialga and Palkia Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are chibi-style remakes of Diamond and Pearl.

The artstyle's really not my thing - I actually liked the artstyle of Let's Go if not the overall game experience, and that this remake seems to do away with the former while keeping the latter is a little disappointing. Since I've never actually played the OG Diamond and Pearl, I might pick up a copy of Platinum and a DS instead, which might also end up being cheaper if these remakes are $60 like Let's Go was.

Sinnoh fans are probably pretty happy though.

Pokémon Legends Arceus appears a lot like Breath of the Wild at first glance, and Nintendo appears to be trying to give that impression what with the background piano music, wide-sweeping camera shot, and lack of HUD elements in the trailer. I'm a little concerned that the textures and some of the animations look so noticeably rough. Hopefully that'll be fixed before launch, but it wasn't for Sword and Shield, and this game is launching in at most a year.

I'm probably going to buy this game. Even without seeing more of the gameplay, just that it's an open-world Pokémon game (woah), set in feudal Japan (sick), while keeping the turn-based combat for some battles (a personal plus) means it's already the coolest official Pokémon game I've seen since Black and White. The great looking main characters, starter lineup, and generally-nicer graphics also don't hurt. I just hope that the jagged edges around everything are either a compression issue or resolved before launch.
