Your coronavirus test result is out of date even before you receive it. You could catch the coronavirus the minute you walk out of the testing clinic.
These passports are worse than worthless. They will lead to people behaving as if they're free of the coronavirus when they may not be.
Yeah agreed, a more useful passport would be if you tested positive in the past, and even so it's too early to do one like that.
Agreed: a passport signifying an old inactive infection is more useful than a passport signifying no current active infections. To get around the uncertainty about whether coronavirus antibodies give someone long-term immunity, these antibody-based passports could have a duration of 3 months, after which they would have to be renewed.
