    Out of curiosity, do we have a competitive table tennis crowd on here at all?

    I started training at my local club to play competitively about four months back, and have become madly addicted. I’ve played ~15 yrs of regular tennis and tons of garage ping pong, so I have a better base than most - but ofc it’s still taken a lot of adjustment and learning. Nothing like reverse-hustling the good players at the club with god-tier forehand loops, then revealing I can’t hit a backhand to save my life (BH drives/loops don’t translate over from tennis in the slightest).
