Fitness Weekly Discussion
What have you been doing lately for your own fitness? Try out any new programs or exercises? Have any questions for others about your training? Want to vent about poor behavior in the gym? Started a new diet or have a new recipe you want to share? Anything else health and wellness related?
With the new Year, is set some Callisthenics goals for myself. I want to be able to hold a handstand, and do other isometric holds too. Unfortunately that has been put on hold a little while.
I took my kids to the roller rink on the first of the year, and ended up pulling my lower back. As part of my recovery, I learned it likely happened because of my skating/standing/walking posture is not good, and I've been using the wrong muscles to do those things my whole life. Step 0 is recovering my pulled muscle, Step 1 is fixing my posture, and Step 2 is the strength training I wanted to start in the first paragraph.
