Britain’s future is being compromised by the massive increase in long-term sickness among the working age population

Weirdly this is something politicians don't really talk about, although it is something that is fixable (for example tackling obesity, which Boris Johnson did have a strategy to tackle for all of 5 minutes after he almost died of COVID – not a great strategy but at least a strategy).
