    I started running again. I used to run track, made it to state twice for 300m hurdles and 4x4 and my regular 8 mile run took less than an hour. But have only really been powerlifting/skiing/mtb/hiking in my 20s and early 30s. Ran 2.5 miles at an 11 minute pace, 8,000 ft altitude in a relatively flat area. Very disheartening.

    I found a chart online that said 22:53 5k is considered "intermediate" for a 35 year old so I'm gonna run two 5ks a week until I hit that. Still trying to lift 2-3 days a week and ski/mtb on weekends. New goals are: 500lb dead, 300lb bench, 23:00 5k. Currently at: 455, 265, 30:00+(?).
