Thanks for this. I recently moved to California and have been interested in seeing the effects of CBD for myself. Last weekend I bought some ~1:1 THC:CBD gummies in San Jose. Not knowing the effective dose of CBD I was impressed with its calming effects. I guess that was a mixture of placibo and the THC:
Blessing also notes that in lower doses, like 5 mg or even less, THC does about the same thing that CBD does in very high doses: lightly stimulates that CB1 receptor.
Hopefully next time I can give a proper 300mg dose a try.

A while ago I went on the psychonautwiki to learn about CBD. As this article says, there really doesn't seem to be much that is known.
