I'm thinking of adding a day of lifting to my climbing routine (climb 2x/wk, climb & yoga 1x) - just wondering if anyone has suggestions on lifts? I have done deadlifts, squats, overhead press, and bench press before but it's been a while and I would do them on different days. Would it make sense to rotate or would that not even be enough to get a real benefit?

Any lifting > no lifting. You can definitely do all 4 in a single day's workout, but it will be a tough day. I think ideally you'd split deadlift and squat to different days and OHP and bench to different days, so you could do an A/B split (such as deadlift/OHP; squat/bench) if you can manage 2x/wk but I would view the lifting as supplemental to your climbing and not your climbing as supplemental to your lifting.

You may want to look into various forms of grip training if you feel that your climbing could benefit from a stronger grip.

I've been trying to get to the point where I can run a couple times a week at least the distance of a 5K. I've also been on a keto diet which has added challenges to my energy level when running which I was anticipating...but it really has put a damper on my progress.
