Man, this hit a few wildly different passing interests of mine: historical religion and esoterica, typographical history, the derivation of dead idioms ("red-letter day"), and watching far more talented people than I turn a pile of nothing into art. It even has just a soupçon of vulgarity sprinkled on top. That was a fun Saturday morning watch, so thanks @cfabbro!
Shame the Bastarda cap isn't available anymore. That's precisely the sort of obnoxious conversation-starting apparel my college roomie and I would have loved back in the day.
Yeah, these videos touch on a bunch of my own interest as well, beyond just the artistic aspect. YVW, glad you enjoyed it. And since you did, I would also definitely recommend checking out...

What an excellent video, I enjoyed everything about this. Crafting ridiculous things in absurd detail, highly skilled craftspeople, a background story, some medieval Christian lore. Loved it, i...

I was aware of some of those but not all of those, thank you! Are you aware of Bobby Fingers? He is delightfully unhinged https://m.youtube.com/@bobbyfingers

If you enjoyed the artistic aspects of this video, you should definitely check out some of the other sculpture and modelmaking channels I've submitted here over the years. There are some truly talented people creating similar sorts of videos. E.g. Studson Studio, North of the Border, BM Sculptures, Boylei Hobby Time, Steven Richter, Night Shift, Nerdforge, and Art Chong Art (who makes beautiful sculptures). Although Something Wicked is truly unique in their historical focus.
p.s. If anyone knows of any other similar channels, please let me know. I absolutely love them and am always looking for more to subscribe to. :)

Yeah I'm already subbed to Bobby Fingers too, and yeah he is a bit out-there in the best way possible. :P
