Thanks for the article. I once happened to be on a cruise ship that stopped in Belize, which is a place I wouldn't have otherwise visited. While there, I visited Lamenai which is not as famous as for example Chichen Itza but is quite impressive with three large pyramids. One of those pyramids had a face sculpted that was 8 or 9 feet high. Pretty cool.
