Interesting video. Probably wouldn't have watched it except I just watched Masters of the Air online, which focuses on the B-17 air crews and the harrowing bombing runs they faced during WWII. It was based on real characters which made it all the more poignant when you watched sorties where 14 bombers went out and only 1 came back.

Yeah, quite a few history related YouTube channels have recently released videos related to Masters of the Air. I haven't watched the show myself yet though, as I'm currently working through Shogun, but it's on my watchlist, and is likely what I will be watching next. :)
p.s. Ever seen Memphis Belle? It's been a long while since I last watched it, but from what I remember, it was a bit cheesy (as most 90s movies are), but still pretty good.
Havent seen it but I was looking for something to watch this weekend. That should do the trick. Looks like it covers some of the same scenes - like a crew qualifying to go home after flying 25...

Yeah, I imagine it will cover a lot of the same ground, and the effects will likely be a lot less impressive too. ;) But it's probably still worth a watch if it's a subject you're interested in....

And sadly, not a lot of WW2 air combat movies have been made over the years, so the pickings are a bit slim. :(
