Neat little history... and it even puts some of the modern online scams and dark web in context.
Incidentally, one of the 2001 Anthrax attack targets (American Media Inc.) was a few blocks from my house in Boca Raton, Florida. The whole area around their complex was completely locked down for days by law enforcement agents and the National Guard. FBI/CDC people in biohazard suits were roaming around bloody everywhere looking for contamination even into the gated communities around the area. It was a bit terrifying and felt like witnessing in real life something out of a Zombie apocalypse movie. :(
p.s. Comstock was an asshole.
