Nice! If you want to compare channel lists some time, let me know... since I am always on the lookout for more to subscribe to. And I do love me a good history video (documentaries, podcasts and books as well), especially ones focused on military history. Rome is definitely up there for me in terms of subject matter too... though I tend to favor stories of Byzantium over Republican/Western Rome. Unfortunately not a whole lot of YouTubers that I am aware of, other than Kings & Generals on occasion, tend to cover much about Byzantium though. :(
And yeah, I am also incredibly wary of anyone trying to ascribe the downfall of "Rome" to any singular cause as well, especially one so ambiguous/unspecific as "barbarians". I have never read Gibbons, though I have been on an Adrian Goldsworthy kick the last year or so, and finally finished off Augustus: First Emperor a few months ago. His How Rome Fell is still in my reading list too, but the reviews are honestly not that great compared to his previous books, so I may wind up passing on it in favor of Mike Duncan's The Storm Before the Storm, which I have been meaning to read for quite some time too.
Speaking of which, if you're looking for a podcast to dive into, Duncan's The History of Rome is absolutely phenomenal, and in the later episodes covers many of the multitudinous causes of the Western Empire's decline. And if, like me, Byzantium is more your thing, Robin Pierson's still ongoing The History of Byzantium (which is designed as a continuation of Duncan's THoR) is also very good too.

And yeah, there are the occasional African/Middle Eastern/Asian history videos popping up in my feeds, but they are few and far between compared to the amount of Roman Republic/Roman Empire, and WW1/WW2 videos. I can't really complain though, since I still enjoy those as well. :)
p.s. My interest in Roman History peaks at around Constantine, for what should be obvious reasons. :P
