Should I move this to ~humanities given that it's about history and a modern technique historians and even laymen are using to identify people in historical photos, or even ~tech given the modern technology and the web-service involved? It seems a shame for it to linger in ~misc when there a few other groups where this would be appropriate (and probably more appreciated).
personally if it were my call i'd say this fits better in ~humanities. when i think of ~tech, i would think more straight-forward technological discussion and technology-oriented articles rather...
