This is actually a really cool site. I wish the scrolljacking was a bit smoother, but I certainly liked the insight on mapping in North Korea. Seeing such destinations like "Pyongyang Dog Meat House" and "North Portal to Underground Nuclear Facility" makes me wonder what other crazy POIs are here too. (It also seems like the POIs change on each refresh—clever!)

Pretty brief but interesting article. My first guess was that the North Korean government was populating the map for PR reasons.
Very cool visualisation. I didn't realise mapbox gl js could be used to make story maps like that.
