Thanks for the post! This was really interesting. Even though I'm just a vanilla gay guy, I especially empathized with the professor's part; getting hit on by a girl is pretty terrifying, I've never sure how to react, and it overall feels really awkward. I hadn't even considered that if they're that stalkerish, people are probably not likely to lend you much support if they're a girl and you pass as a straight guy... :/ I hope I don't wind up in his shoes...
